From what I noticed until now it's not particularly demanding of processing power and I would therefore also use it for live sound reinforcement. The LX480 not only sets a new standard for quality and accuracy in plugin-based reverb emulations. I run this plugin in a hybrid setup and didn't encounter any problems with it yet. The LX480 actually replaced our Lexicon 480L hardware. The only downside of the plugin (which is really a tiny one) is that every algorithm is it's own plugin, which makes quick swapping between for example a room or hall take a little longer. Sound quality wise this is, to my ears, definitely a step-up from the reverbs that come standard with a DAW and would be a good pick for someone upgrading the plugins he owns or who is investing in having more to choose from.
If you want to, there's an option for a deep dive into more settings, but during the limited time I've now tested it, I didn't feel inclined to do this yet.
